REVIEW: The Pumpkin Festival at Crockford Bridge Farm

On the weekend, we decided to check out Crockford Bridge Farm for the first time. It’s just an hour away from South West London. The Pumpkin festival is different from pumpkin picking which has now ended as they’ve harvested them all. Pre harvested Pumpkins are available to purchase every day during the Pumpkin Festival.

📍New Haw Rd, Weybridge, Addlestone KT15 2BU

There is free parking available with plenty of spaces. The nearest station is Addlestone and it’s about a 20 minute walk from there.

The Pumpkin festival is £6 pp with a £2 booking fee pp. Under 1s are FREE

What’s on at the pumpkin festival?

  • Pumpkin Carving – you’ll need to purchase a pumpkin there and also a pumpkin carving kit. I know many of you have your own pumpkin carving kits already so you can save yourself £4.95 if you bring it along with you.
  • The Autumn fairy was around interacting with the kid and using bubbles to keep them entertained
  • There’s a small playground, hay slides and a tyre obstacle course.
  • There is a pumpkin shy – you knock the pumpkins off a stand with a ball.
  • There was a scarecrow in stilts walking around to entertain the kids.
  • There is a giant swing.
  • Ice cream is available
  • Hot drinks and snacks are available to purchase
  • Poor Boys are on site every day offering New Orleans Street Food. We had some and it was very yummy!
  • Toilets are available but I always recommend purchasing a Whizzer.

Little miss had the best day out. She said her favourite part was the pumpkin shy game. I did think it was a good day out and you get your money’s worth but I thought there could’ve been a little more activities for the kids. Activities that are staff-led too. I would’ve been happy to pay a bit extra if there were l some spooky actors around playing Halloween themed games. Just a suggestion if the owners happen to read this 🙂

I still think it’s worth a visit though. TAG us in your social posts if you go!
