REVIEW: Bocketts Farm

AD|Press trip

So on Friday, we had the pleasure of visiting Bocketts Farm in Surrey, and the kids had a really good time! Like most adventure farms, there is lots to do here!

Let’s get the important info out of the way.

Address:

Young St, Fetcham, Leatherhead KT22 9BS. Parking is FREE.

Leatherhead train station is a 5-minute taxi drive to the farm, and there are usually taxis waiting outside the station.

Prices:

Prices start from £9.50 with under 2s going FREE! There are standard, and off-peak prices and you can find more info here.

Visitor numbers will be restricted, so it is essential that you pre-book tickets.

Opening times:

The farm is open every day from 10 am – 5:30 pm except Christmas day, Boxing day and New Year’s Day.

We started our day checking out all the cute animals they have.

They have the same animals as most farms like: goats, cows, pigs and the cutest piglets 😍 horses, Guinea pigs, rabbits and more. You could also purchase animal feed for £1 at the reception desk where they will make it clear what animals you can feed and what animals you cannot feed. There are also signs around in case you forget!

We enjoyed the tractor ride, which is not included in the price. It’s £1.50 per person, and you can pay by card. The views are incredible, so I highly recommend doing the tractor ride if you do plan to visit after reading this!

Their soft play was closed when we went, but I’ve just had a look on their website, and it reopened on the 22nd, which is great for soft play lovers!

There’s lots of fun to be had outside:

Jumping pillows always seem to be a big hit with kids. They have used tape to try and divide kids on jumping pillows which I thought was quite silly. I don’t think it’s reasonable to try and get kids to keep their distance. Adults absolutely but not kids!

There are two jumping pillows: one for over five and another for under 5s.

Playground – there’s a lovely playground for kids of all ages. This include swings, trampolines and a huge sandpit!

Treehouse towers – The exciting Treehouse Towers provide endless fun up high with net climbers, bridges, slides, tunnels and mounds. There’s a mini area for under 5’s too!

Hare pin racers – What kid doesn’t love zooming around on a Go-Kart track! Adults can have a go too! There is a mini version for kids under five close by!

The super 6 lilypads – Kids can jump on very clean trampolines! They get 3 minutes each which I think is more than enough time. You can always queue up again.

Water wars – During the warmer months kids can splash around panning for gold in their ‘Last Chance Mine’ or have a go at playing ‘Water Wars’ where everyone can enjoy launching water-filled balloons at each other.

COVID Precautions.

  • Face coverings are to be worn in all indoor areas of the Farm Park. This includes the Main Barn, Gift Shop, toilets, Coffee Shop, Small Animal Village and Animal Discovery Barn.
  • Hand sanitiser and handwashing facilities are available throughout the farm.
  • The farm is cashless.
  • Pony rides, pig racing, the young driver zone and goat milking demonstrations will remain closed for now.

You can check out more safety info on their website.

Would we go back?

Most definitely! Bocketts Farm is lovely, and just under an hour from our house, so we’re very lucky! On their website, it says they also do special events so I’m hoping they have something on for Halloween as that would be the perfect time to revisit!
