Today we had a PIGTASTIC experience at Kew Little Pigs!
Address: Old Amersham Farm, High St, Amersham HP7 0HR
Parking is FREE! The nearest station is Amersham. It’s a 5-minute taxi ride from there.
They have quite a few different experiences, and you can see them all here. We did the “Pet and Play” experience, and we both enjoyed it.
The “Pet and Play” experience is for all ages and group sizes under 6.
• You start the day off with an introduction to the different kind of pigs they have. We heard some funny stories. You will also be able to grab a brush.
• After your introduction, you can go inside the different Petting Pens
• You’re then free to brush & groom the Miniature Pigs
• There’s plenty of photo opportunities
This is experience is 1 hour and 30 minutes long and the start times are: 10am, 11am,12pm, 1pm, 2pm
Price
£30 per person.
Everyone will need a ticket as no spectators are allowed. Children under 3 go FREE.
If you want to save money, then book on Groupon.
Unfortunately, we didn’t see any newborn piglets today. We were told they had recently been sold. On their website on the “Miniature pigs for sale” part, it says there are some new litters due at the end of May, so you might want to wait until then to book.
We did have a lovely time. The pigs all have their little funny personalities, and they’re super cute! It’s a lot of fun for the whole family! There were other families there too, but everyone kept their distance. Only 10 people are allowed in each pen, and there is plenty of space inside of them to keep your distance.
As far as I’m aware, there are no toilets but plenty of hand sanitiser around. Refreshments are available as well as a small gift shop. We had excellent service and experienced really friendly staff, so I’m sure we will be back in the future.
