REVIEW: Why You Must Experience The Snow Centre At Least Once In Your Lifetime.

London’s Closest Indoor Real Snow Slope! We live in South London, and it was just over an hour in the car.

You can go skiing and snowboarding here, but I’m going to talk about what we did—the Ringo slide.

This fun activity is available for adults and children aged four years and older.

Available at weekends throughout the year, and selected dates throughout the school holidays. I’ve had a look at their website and their next available dates are in January. It’s worth checking daily for any cancellations if you want to visit in December.

Price: Family & Friends Ringo Slide sessions for up to 6 people is £49. Parking is FREE!

You can book here.

Warm, waterproof clothing is recommended, as well as waterproof gloves. If you don’t have your own gloves, you can buy them for £10 per person. Helmets and snow boots will be provided. I purchased our gloves from Decathlon.

Address: The Snow Centre, St Albans Hill, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP3 9NH

The review.

We went to the check-in desk when we first arrived and was greeted by a lovely staff member who told us what to do. She took my booking reference and printed out a little ticket for me to have.

We then went upstairs and followed the signs to the equipment collection. Little miss already has snow boots, so I picked up some for myself and helmets for the both of us. Helmets and snow boots are included in the price.

There’s a one-way system to help with social distancing. There are lockers available to put your valuables away. The lockers are free to use and very to easy to operate as you just need to create your code.

Depending on how early you get there, you may or may not have to wait a while for a staff member to come along and show you where to go.

The Ringo slide was lots of fun, and we had plenty of go’s within our 30-minute slot! The staff members helping us were super friendly! They were silly and making jokes with little miss which she just loved!

Once your 30 minutes are up, a staff member will show you the way out and where to put your equipment so that it can be sanitised. You’re then able to collect your things from your locker.

Would we go again?

I’ve already booked a snowboarding lesson for the new year 😉
