REVIEW: Our day out at Chobham Adventure Farm

AD| Press trip

Yes, we were out again today 😆 this time we went to Chobham Adventure Farm, and it’s was a fantastic day out! We started the day off by having our temperature checked. It’s a good idea to get your little ones use to this as it’s quite common now.

I liked the fact you’re assigned a table number upon entry. You don’t have to go rushing around find somewhere to keep your bags. The table you get will be yours until your leave.

The first thing I noticed was how clean, and new everything looked. Chobham opened up four years ago, but things still look nice and fresh which is great!

There’s an indoor and outdoor play area for kids, but unfortunately, the indoor one is closed due to COVID restrictions. That didn’t take away from our super fun day out! There’s ours of fun outside!

There are two bouncing pillows, zip wires, two huge play areas for different ages, and a massive sandpit! I mean it when I say there’s hours of fun here.

The animal barn.

We saw a pregnant pig, some cows, sheep, goats and more! There’s not a lot of animals there, but they’re still worth visiting! There’s lots of educational info around too.

Food.

This time we decided to eat out, and I’m glad we did because the food was delicious. I had chilli con Carne which was 👌🏾 , and little miss had chicken strips and sweet potato fries. She’s wasn’t too keen on the chicken, but the fries were fabulous! The portions were great and our meals came to £14.

There’s also cold food and drinks available. The kid’s picnic box looked perfect too. You get to pick five items (fruit, juice, water etc.) to put in a cute little box full of animal facts all for £5.50.

Toilets.

They were open yay 😀 , clean and spacious! I feel like I always have to mention this now because we recently when to Warwick Castle and neither one of us could fit in the toilet 😆

Address.

Bagshot Road, Chobham, Surrey, GU24 8DB

Opening times.

You have a choice of 3 sessions – 10 am, 12.30 pm, 3 pm. It wasn’t crazy busy when we went, but I say go for early morning or late afternoon if you’re worried about it getting busy. If it’s not busy, you can ask to extend your stay. Someone will make an announcement in case you lose track of time.

How much?

COVID precautions

  • There were staff cleaning tables when people were leaving.
  • It’s kind of hard to expect kids to social distance after spending months locked up indoors, but all the adults seemed to be keeping their distance which was a nice change from yesterday’s awful day out at Legoland 🤦🏾‍♀️
  • You can wash your hands right by the barn and in the toilets, and they also have hand sanitiser available
  • There’s no one-way system as that wouldn’t be possible, but there are plenty of signs reminding people to keep their distance.

Would we go back again?

Absolutely! Hopefully, we get the chance to check out the impressive soft play because it’s enormous and I just know little miss would have the best time! Is it too early to think about Christmas? I’ve seen their Christmas photos, and it looks pretty amazing! I think we might book that too! Check out our Instagram Highlight for more fun pictures and videos of our day out!
