Another day, another fantastic adventure! Today we went to Stonor Park for the first time, and it definitely won’t be the last as we all had such a wonderful time.
The Wonder Woods reopened on the 4th of July, and it was worth every penny! There are hours of fun for the kids. From water play to sand, to the neat zip wire! There’s something for kids of all ages!
Little miss said her favourite part of the day was playing with the water and the sand as she felt like she was at the beach!
Parents can relax as they have picnic tables and large log benches, but they go quickly so you should bring your picnic blanket just in case! You can get some hot and cold drinks and snacks at the Visitor Centre reception. They have WiFi, but it wasn’t good. There’s no reception there, but it’s I think that’s a good thing! Switch off and spend some time with your loved ones!
The Garden was just as amazing as the wonder woods! There’s so much to see! From beautiful flowers to gorgeous butterflies!
There are deers, chickens and even Red Kites out and about in the area so why not turn it into a fun game and see what you can spot!
How much?
Lovely and cheap! £6.50 for adults and £5.50 for kids over two. You must prebook. There are two sessions 11 am – 2 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.

The nearest railway station is Henley-on-Thames and taxis are available from the Station.
You do not need to purchase a Car Park ticket if you have tickets to Wonder Woods and/or Garden Tickets. Car Park tickets are just for those either that want to use the car park at Stonor to enjoy the picnic area, eat a Stonor Street Food Takeaway in the picnic area or use it as a base for a walk on the public.
COVID precautions
It’s a massive space, so there’s no need for anything extra, but there is a one-way system for the garden and hand sanitiser stations.
I don’t think I saw any child keeping their distance as to be expected, but all the parents did, which is fab!
