REVIEW: Everything you need to know before visiting Woburn Safari

AD|Press trip

Thinking about buying tickets for Woburn Safari? I’m going to give you all the info you’ll need in this post.

📍 Crawley Rd, Woburn, Ridgmont, Bedford MK43 0TU

Parking is FREE! The nearest station is Ridgmont.

Price

£27.50 for 16+

£20.00 for 3-15

Under 3s are FREE

Unfortunately you’re still unable to use Tesco Clubcard vouchers for discounted tickets and I’m not sure when or if you’ll ever be able to use them again.

I’ve had a look on Kidspass and the tickets on there seem to have sold out.

You can get discounted tickets on the Little Bird website but they’re limited so be quick!

You have two options when it’s comes to Woburn Safari. You can do the drive-through Safari or the walk through Safari. They’re both the same price!

We opted for the drive-through experience and it was so good! We saw Elephants, Lions, Bears, Tigers, Giraffes and more! You can repeat the circuits as many times as you like which is good as you might be able to see certain animals you may have missed the first time.

One annoying thing was people being selfish and not moving their cars along quickly enough! I would suggest going as soon as it opens which is 9:30 am. Hopefully, this will allow you to not be stuck in Safari traffic.

Please be aware that this is quite different to West Midlands Safari as you are unable to feed the animals.

At the end of the drive-through Safari you can park your car and see the rest of the animals on foot. Here you’ll be able to see Sea Lions, Meerkats, Wallabies, Penguins and more! The Elephant Medow is currently closed and I’m not sure when it will reopen.

What else can you do here?

Kids are going to love the Mammoth Play Ark! It’s a huge soft play area with very cool slides!

Make sure you check out the great Woburn railway! It’s included in the price!

Giraffe trail high ropes is for kids 5-12. It’s £6.99 per child and card payment only.

The dragon and swan boats are fun for the whole family! They’re super easy to find! You can’t miss it! This activity is also included in the entry price. The Swan and Dragon Boats are open from 10:30am – 5.30pm every day.

Outdoor play areas are there for the kids to enjoy! You have the inflatables for toddlers, the jungle jamboree playground and the bobcat run!

There are a number of places where you can grab some food! Pizzas, sandwiches , kids snack boxes, the usual kind of food you get at places like this! Toilets and baby changing facilities are also available.

It was a really good day out. I would highly recommend doing the drive-through Safari if you can! Seeing the animals up close from the comfort of your car is awesome!
