REVIEW: 6 Reasons Why People Love Paulton’s Park

AD|Press trip

Unfortunately, thanks to another UK lockdown Paultons Park is closed, and I’m hoping for a December re-opening as it’s truly fantastic and one of the best theme parks in the UK! Especially for kids under 5!

As I’m sure, you already know Paultons Park is home to Peppa Pig World. It’s a place every Peppa fan should visit at some point. The rides are super family-friendly.

We went during the last day of the Halloween festivities, and I was thoroughly impressed with all the beautiful decorations. It was honestly at the level of Disneyland. Pumpkins everywhere! I can only imagine how amazing Christmas would be!

We managed a whopping 16 rides in one day. We visited during little miss’ inset day, and although it was busy, there were hardly any queues!

In terms of social distancing, there were many people, not following government guidelines and that was infuriating. There were staff walking around with signs reminding people to keep their distance, but many people just seem to ignore the 2-meter rule!

There are yellow makers on the floor, so I’m not sure why it’s so hard? I think that people should be asked to leave if they’re are unwilling to keep their distance.

Make sure you bring you to mask if you do decide to visit. You will need to wear one in all queues. Not all rides require you to wear a mask. You will see which ones on the signs.

There’s also plenty of hand sanitiser dotted around the park!

So as mentioned before we went on 16 rides! Little miss said her favourite rides were:

  • Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club – she said she loved floating in the water and seeing The Queeb.
  • George’s Dinosaur Adventure – she said she enjoyed the ride because it was super bumpy.
  • The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride – she’s a big fan of heights!
  • Windy Castle Ride – she loved spinning around in the sky.

Paultons is home to Peppa Pig World, but that’s not all that’s there!

Dinosaur lovers can check out the Prehistoric Dinosaurs.

There are a few animals you can check out like Flamingos and Tortoises.

The Japanese Garden is beautiful and a part of the park you’re going to want to check out.

Cat-O-Pillar Coaster – a super cool Rollercoaster ride suitable for those 0.9m +

Boulder Dash – Choose between riding in a huge dinosaur egg or giant stone on the swirling Boulder-Dash ride.

There’s so much more too. I would highly recommend doing two days at this park.

Of course, we would! We loved the park, and I’m thinking about an overnight stay for our next visit!
