A New Moana Chapter Has Arrived
The Disney Princess Afternoon Tea follows the magical Royal Recipe Book, where Disney Princesses gather treasured recipes from their adventures.
This summer, the newest chapter belongs to Moana and celebrates her journey beyond the reef with colourful tropical flavours inspired by island life, the ocean and adventure.
The storytelling element really helps make this feel more special than a traditional afternoon tea, with every course connecting back to a Disney Princess story.
The Adult Menu
Adults receive a beautifully themed blue menu featuring a selection of savoury sandwiches, tropical desserts, speciality teas and classic afternoon tea favourites.
Some of the standout savoury options include a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich, roast beef inspired by Princess Tiana’s world and a cheese sandwich with sweet onion marmalade inspired by Cinderella’s loyal friend Gus.
Guests can also enjoy Wayfinder Scones served with clotted cream and strawberry jam, alongside elegant chocolate truffles inspired by Cinderella’s famous glass slipper.
The Children’s Menu
The children’s menu follows the same magical Disney Princess theme but has been designed with younger guests in mind.
Little princesses can enjoy fun savoury bites including:
- Fairest Slice of All – a classic ham and cheese sandwich inspired by Snow White
- Once Upon A Dream – cucumber and cream cheese inspired by Aurora
- Warrior’s Bite – chicken and mayo inspired by Mulan
- Cheddar In The Cellar – a cheese sandwich inspired by Gus from Cinderella
The Moana-themed desserts continue throughout the children’s menu with tropical-inspired treats including Island Flowers, Drop In The Ocean and Heart Of Te Fiti.
For drinks, younger guests can choose from hot chocolate or a selection of child-friendly teas including Forest Fruit, Chamomile Blossom, Rooibos Lemon Delight, Mugicha and Peppermint.
The themed presentation and storytelling make it feel much more interactive than a standard afternoon tea and I can see it being especially popular with Disney-loving children.

Is The Disney Princess Afternoon Tea Worth It?
If your child loves Disney Princesses, Moana or magical dining experiences, this is definitely one to consider.
From the moment we arrived at Park Corner Brasserie, the experience felt special. The restaurant has a bright, elegant atmosphere that feels luxurious without being intimidating, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. It’s also in a fantastic location right in the heart of London and only a short walk from Hyde Park Corner station, making it really easy to get to.
As with any afternoon tea, there were some items I preferred over others, but overall I thought the menu was creative, beautifully presented and stayed true to the Disney Princess theme.
One of my favourite savoury items was From The Bayou, the roast beef, mayonnaise and lettuce sandwich inspired by Princess Tiana. I love roast beef, so this was always going to be a winner for me. I also really enjoyed The Carriage Awaits, a chicken sandwich with pumpkin butter inspired by Cinderella’s magical carriage. It sounded unusual but it was absolutely delicious.
I can appreciate the creativity behind the cheese sandwich inspired by Gus Gus from Cinderella. It looked fantastic and was one of the cutest items on the menu, but it wasn’t my personal favourite. I think it was more the texture than the flavour that didn’t quite work for me.
When it came to the sweet treats, the Mini Apple Pie was a standout. It arrived warm and was absolutely delicious. The Moana-inspired desserts are definitely on the sweeter side, but they fit the theme perfectly. I never thought I’d see the day we’d be eating the Heart of Te Fiti, but I have to admit it was very tasty. Sweet, rich and beautifully presented.

I also loved the attention to detail throughout the experience. Receiving chocolate truffles served in a glass slipper was a really fun touch and felt very Disney.

For tea lovers, I highly recommend the Cristallo Blend. It was surprisingly sweet, refreshing and easily my favourite tea of the afternoon.
As for my daughter, she loved the Disney theming and seeing all the princess-inspired treats arrive at the table.
I appreciate that this isn’t a cheap experience, but if you have a child who is a huge Disney fan, I do think it’s worth considering as a special treat. Afternoon tea can be hit and miss with children because, let’s be honest, kids can be incredibly picky when it comes to food, and adults can be too. However, if you’re looking for a unique Disney experience in London, this is one I would recommend.
The combination of themed food, lovely staff, beautiful surroundings and Disney storytelling creates a memorable experience that both children and adults can enjoy. With Moana taking centre stage this summer, it is also one of the most unique Disney experiences currently available in London and a lovely way to add a little Disney magic to your day.
