If you’re looking for one of the best indoor water parks near London, Coral Reef Waterworld in Bracknell is definitely worth considering.
Packed with thrilling water slides, a lazy river, splash zones and plenty of attractions for younger children, it’s the perfect family day out when the British weather isn’t playing ball.
We recently visited and from the moment we arrived, the kid was completely hooked. Every corner seemed to offer something new, whether it was a water slide, splash feature or another exciting area to explore. By the end of our session, she was already asking when we could come back.
What Is Coral Reef Waterworld?
Coral Reef Waterworld is a pirate themed indoor water park located in Bracknell, Berkshire. It’s one of the largest leisure pools in the South East and offers a fantastic mix of family-friendly attractions and adrenaline-fuelled slides.
Whether you’ve got toddlers who love splashing around, older children chasing thrills or adults who simply want to relax, there’s something here for everyone.
Our Favourite Attractions
The Lazy River
The Lazy River was easily one of our favourite parts of the visit.
Although it sounds relaxing, there are sections where the current picks up and sends you speeding along. The twists, turns and unexpected splashes made it far more exciting than we expected and had us laughing the entire way round.
Splash Zone
The Splash Zone was another huge hit.
Filled with interactive water features, sprays and fountains, it’s the perfect place for children to burn off energy. The kid spent ages running between the different water jets and couldn’t stop smiling.
The Water Slides
If your children love water slides, they won’t be disappointed.
Coral Reef features five interactive slides ranging from family-friendly options to more thrilling experiences.
These include:
- Aqua Splash, perfect for younger children and families
- Cannon
- Storm Chaser
- Maelstrom
- Poseidon’s Peril
Height and age restrictions apply on certain slides, so it’s worth checking before your visit.

Facilities and Changing Rooms
The changing rooms were clean, modern and well maintained during our visit.
There were plenty of spacious family changing cubicles, which makes life much easier when visiting with children.
Lockers require a £1 coin, which is fully refundable when you leave.
I didn’t personally use the showers, so I can’t comment on those, but overall the facilities were clean and well looked after.
