What is Bonnie’s Playtime: The Experience?

Bonnie’s Playtime: The Experience is a free, interactive event designed for children aged 4 and over. During the 30 minute experience, families will take part in a series of hands on activities while helping to find Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the rest of the Toy Story gang.

At the end of the adventure, children will receive their very own Deputy Badge to take home.

As this is a timed experience, booking in advance is highly recommended.

Where is the FREE Toy Story 5 Experience?

The experience will be visiting two London locations this summer.

Westfield London, White City

29 July to 9 August

Westfield Stratford City

21 August to 31 August

Everything You Need to Know

  • Entry is completely FREE.
  • Designed for children aged 4 years and over.
  • Each experience lasts approximately 30 minutes.
  • All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Advance booking is recommended as tickets are expected to go quickly.

Is Bonnie’s Playtime: The Experience worth checking out?

As soon as you arrive, each child is given a Bonnie’s Playtime checklist to take around the experience. The aim is to complete the different activities, collect six stamps and help find Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest of the Toy Story gang. Once you’ve completed everything, you’ll earn your very own Deputy Badge to take home.

The experience is split into several interactive stations. It’s aimed at younger children and, although it’s not a huge attraction, it’s a fun way to spend around 30 minutes if you’re already visiting Westfield.

Tip Toe Trail

A simple obstacle style activity where little ones can tiptoe their way through the course. It’s a fun way to collect their first stamp.

Lilypad’s Mix Up Mayhem

This ended up being my daughter’s favourite activity. Children race against the clock to put Mr Potato Head back together before the timer runs out. It’s fast paced, interactive and had us laughing.

Claw Machine

The giant claw machine looks brilliant and makes a great photo opportunity. Just bear in mind that it isn’t a real working claw machine, so don’t expect to win a prize here.

Build with LEGO

Kids can get creative by building their own LEGO creation before collecting another stamp. Don’t forget to pick up your special LEGO brick while you’re here. You can then take it into the LEGO Store to exchange it for a free Toy Story 5 poster, which is a really nice little extra.

Where’s Buzz?

This was a fun activity. Without giving too much away, if you’ve seen Toy Story 5 you’ll appreciate this challenge even more. It was a clever addition that both kids and adults enjoyed.

Dance Hall

If you’re a 90s kid, this one will probably bring back memories. Think of the old dance mat arcade games where you have to step on the correct arrows. It was simple, nostalgic and a lot of fun.

There are also plenty of photo opportunities throughout the experience! Along the way, children can browse some Toy Story merchandise in the Disney Store, enjoy a colouring activity and even create their own Woody or Jessie hat to take home, adding a few extra touches to the experience beyond the main activities.

Is Bonnie’s Playtime: The Experience Worth Visiting?

We’d say yes, as long as you know what to expect. This isn’t a full scale attraction like something you’d find at Disneyland, but for a completely free 30 minute experience, we thought it was well put together and a fun activity for younger Toy Story fans. The interactive games keep children entertained, the checklist gives them something to work towards and the Deputy Badge is a nice little keepsake to take home.

If you saw my earlier post, hopefully you’ve already grabbed your FREE tickets. A limited number of walk up spaces may be available, but they’re not guaranteed, so it’s worth checking availability before you visit.

If you’re already shopping at Westfield or looking for a free family activity in London this summer, we’d definitely say it’s worth popping in. Just keep your expectations realistic and enjoy it for what it is: a fun, free experience for Toy Story fans.
