The attractions

VR Zone – a very cool part of Kidz #1 and something little miss thoroughly enjoyed! She got the chance to be Santa riding the sleigh with the reindeers. There was also another VR experience (motorcycle), but I was told she had to be at least six years old for that. This experience is an extra £5.

7D cinema – this was little miss’ favourite part of the day! I enjoyed it too! You’ll experience moving chairs, wind, water and more! This experience is an extra £5.

Soft play (0-3) – a charming soft play for the tiny ones. Your kids will need socks, so make sure you bring some along. If you somehow managed to forget you can purchase some for just £1.

Mini Sports Arena – Little miss has never really been into football, but she did enjoy kicking the ball around in the mini sports arena.

Soft play (4-12) – this part is huge! What child doesn’t love soft play? Little miss was thrilled to see the huge slides! It was a struggle to get her to leave. 😆 It’s great to know that regular cleaning sessions take place throughout the day!

Food – there’s lots of tasty food to choose from here. Please note you cannot bring your own food. They have pizza, ice cream, fruits, slushies, milkshakes and more! It’s all reasonably priced too! There are plenty of places to sit down and grab a bite to eat! The interactive tables are a big hit! We sat down and played a game of chess!

Toilets – are available and clean! Baby changing facilities are also available. I like the fact that they had sink that very young children can reach.

Lockers – there are lockers available for £1

My thoughts about Kidz #1

I honestly thought it was great! Little miss is at the age where I can let her play independently, so I felt comfortable enough to sit down and watch her run around and have the time of her life. The space is a great size, but you can still easily keep an eye on your kids. The interactive tables even have CCTV, which I thought was pretty cool 😆

If we lived a little bit closer, I would’ve bought a membership. It seems like the perfect place to take the kids after school to unwind. The staff were very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. The staff also go around interacting with the kids too! It’s lovely to see!

I know many parents hate soft play because of all the germs, but I was pleased to see how clean everything was. Kids do not wear shoes here, and parents are given shoe covers just before they enter! I also saw staff going around and cleaning regularly! I would say it’s very COVID safe!

We will definitely be back!
