REVIEW: BeWILDerwood Cheshire

AD|Press trip

We absolutely LOVED BeWILDerwood Norfolk so I just knew we bad to check out the BRAND NEW Cheshire location and it did not disappoint!

Address: Whitchurch Rd, Malpas, Whitchurch SY13 4JF

Parking is FREE and there are plenty of places.

The nearest station is in Whitchurch. BeWILDerwood is 5 miles from there and around a 10 minute taxi journey.

Price: Tickets are from £12.50. Kids under 92cm go FREE!

You’ll be happy to know that this will be a complete mask-free day as it’s all outdoors. You’ll only need a mask if you’re using the toilet or visiting the gift shop right at the end.

There is so much to do!! It’s fantastic!! The zip wire is FUN! Even I had a go, and I had a blast! I love that they have more secure ones for the really little ones! That’s one of my favourite things about BeWILDerwood. It is a place for all ages! It’s made very clear what’s suitable for your kids based on their height and age.

If your little ones are into all things magical, then they’ll love this place! When you’re walking around, you can spot little fairy doors and other magical, exciting things! It would be a really good idea to introduce your kids to the BeWILDerwood story and characters before your visit!

There’s even an opportunity to do some arts and crafts. Little miss made her very own crown, and she had the best time decorating it. They provide you with everything you need from glue sticks to tissue paper.

The slippery slopes are super cool. I can’t tell you how many times we had a go 😆 Top tip: it’s a good idea to wear something that covers your legs so you can slide even faster! I loved that there were slippery slopes big enough for us to go together! Little miss loves when we can experience things together, which is another incredible thing about BeWILDerwood.

We also really enjoyed the Sky Maze and the Mish Mash Maze. What’s more fun than getting lost? 😆 At one point, we were running around in circles and ended up having to follow another family out of the maze. We couldn’t stop laughing!

We didn’t get the chance to check out the storytelling sessions, but I know it would’ve been as exciting as the storytelling at BeWILDerwood Norfolk!

Food

They have plenty of food options and they cater to vegans too! Please note that it’s card payment only!

You can also bring your own food! It would be a good idea to bring a picnic blanket but they do also have plenty of places where you can sit down to eat.

Toilets

There are plenty of toilets around. You’ll be able to find them using the map they give you upon arrival. You can also see the map here.

Planning a staycation?

I almost always go to booking.com to find nearby hotels. I love that there’s usually free cancellation on most of the hotels they have on the website. If you’re on a budget, then definitely check out Travelodge or Premier Inn.

Cheshire is a a great place to take the family. There’s plenty to do nearby like :

Would we go again?

Absolutely! It’s incredible and I had just as much fun as little miss!
