Once I heard that The Original Sweet Shop Afternoon Tea at The Chesterfield Mayfair was extending the lovely Eat Out To Help Out offer, I knew it was finally time to visit!
You can continue to enjoy £10pp off the Sweetshop Afternoon Tea and Terrace Bar menu. Available Monday – Friday throughout September.
When is it available?
The Original Sweetshop Afternoon Tea is available at The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel daily from 12.30 – 6.30 pm.
Where is it?
35 Charles St, Mayfair, London W1J 5EB.
It’s in the congestion charge zone, and parking is almost £5 an hour, so public transport is the smartest and cheapest option. Check out Citymapper to find out the best way to get there from your home.
How much?
£40 for adults and £21.50 for kids. We got it for £49.18 thanks to EOTHO

What did we think of the afternoon tea?
One word: AMAZING! We loved every minute of it, and we would totally do it again! I think the staff played a significant role in making the experience so good because they were all so lovely to little miss. After our terrible experience at Port Lympne, customer service is something that I really judge now. I have no complaints at all today! Everyone was welcoming.
Our afternoon tea started with the coolest welcome drinks and then we had a server come round and ask us what drinks we wanted and if we had any allergies. I disclosed my nut allergy, and the server assured me that our afternoon tea would be completely free from nuts and that’s something I love to hear.
Our drinks were quickly served, and so was our food which we just ADORED! From the Cherry bonbon cupcakes to the Honey roast ham sandwich. We’ve done a few afternoon teas, and this is definitely in the top 5!
The food was delicious, and you can even request more if you’re not full. You also have the option to bring home your leftovers in a cute little takeaway box.
Right at the end of your afternoon tea you can to head to the sweet shop and someone will come over and pick the sweets you want and pop them in a bag for you to take home! It’s a great way to end the day! We loved it, and I hope we’ve convinced you to visit too!

What a great afternoon tea! This is so up my street, I love an afternoon tea with a bit of a difference. Looks like you two really enjoyed yourself. Also what a great way to spend time with your little one! Definitley need to check this out the next time I am in London!
