A brand new Wallace & Gromit shop has opened at Battersea Power Station in London, and it is much more than shelves of merchandise.
Wallace & Gromit and Friends at Baaa ttersea opened on 18 September 2026 as part of Aardman’s 50th anniversary celebrations. It is Aardman’s first dedicated retail space outside Bristol and can be found on the Ground Floor of Boiler House North, in the unit previously occupied by the Peppa Pig Store. The pop up is currently scheduled to remain open until 3 May 2027.
The shop brings together Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Morph, Chicken Run and other Aardman favourites, with themed areas, photo opportunities, displays and plenty of merchandise to browse.
What can you see inside the Wallace & Gromit shop at Battersea Power Station?
One of the best things about the shop is how heavily themed it is. It feels more like an Aardman experience combined with a shop rather than a standard merchandise store.
There is a huge illuminated Morph figure standing in front of an Aardman 50 Years of Clay timeline, alongside detailed display models featuring scenes and characters from Aardman productions.
There is also a large Shaun the Sheep section designed around Mossy Bottom Farm. This area includes Shaun themed clothing, toys, plush characters, bottles, mugs and other gifts.
Elsewhere, there is a Wallace & Gromit Cracking Gifts section filled with Gromit and Wallace plush toys, mugs, egg cups and other homeware. There are also wooden character ornaments and lots of smaller souvenirs if you do not want to spend too much.
Feathers McGraw merchandise
Feathers McGraw fans have their own dedicated Criminally Good section.
The display is filled with Feathers McGraw plush toys, keyrings, water bottles, tote bags, artwork and gifts featuring the famous wanted poster design.
Considering how popular Feathers McGraw has become again following Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, this will probably be one of the sections people head straight towards.
Wendolene’s Wools
There is even a Wendolene’s Wools area inspired by A Close Shave.
The themed counter is surrounded by wool, Shaun the Sheep characters and knitted style merchandise, with a life size Wendolene display behind the counter.
It is another example of how much effort has gone into making different parts of the shop feel connected to the films rather than simply displaying products on regular shelving.
Chicken Run and Morph
Chicken Run has its own section too, including merchandise inspired by Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget. There are plush chickens, character mugs, toys and other gifts displayed against a themed Chicken Run backdrop.
Morph also has a dedicated corner with T shirts, books, keyrings and plush characters.
Wallace & Gromit themed displays
Another area recreates the homely feel associated with Wallace and Gromit.
There is an old fashioned rocking chair, lamp, small table, framed scenes from the films and wooden furniture displaying jewellery and gifts.
It is a small detail, but it makes this section feel like you have stepped into part of Wallace and Gromit’s home.
Aardman Craft Corner
Upstairs there is an Aardman Craft Corner with tables, chairs and craft products.
Aardman has said visitors will be able to take part in creative modelling and drawing here, so this is one of the parts worth checking when visiting with children.
The store is expected to host additional activities during its run too, including Christmas with Wallace & Gromit and Year of the Sheep celebrations with Shaun and the Flock.
Original style Aardman displays
One of the more interesting parts for Aardman fans is the collection of detailed models displayed in glass cases.
These include miniature scenes featuring Wallace, Gromit and other characters, giving visitors a closer look at the kind of miniature sets and stop motion style Aardman is famous for.
The shop also includes lanterns that have previously appeared at Longleat Festival of Light and Cheddar Gorge.
What can you buy?
There is a huge range of Aardman merchandise covering several different characters.
From what I spotted during my visit, there were Wallace and Gromit mugs, espresso mugs, egg cups, plush toys, clothing, blankets, bottles, tote bags, jewellery, prints, keyrings and homeware.
Shaun the Sheep merchandise includes clothing, bottles, plush toys and mugs, while Feathers McGraw has everything from plush characters and bottles to bags and prints.
There is also Morph and Chicken Run merchandise, plus products from brands including TOG24 and Licensed to Charm.
Some of the merchandise has been created specifically for the Battersea shop, including a new Baaa ttersea range, while the store also stocks products sourced from Asia.

Wallace & Gromit and Friends at Baaa ttersea is inside Battersea Power Station.
The shop is located on the Ground Floor in Boiler House North.
Battersea Power Station has its own Northern line Underground station, making it very easy to reach by public transport.

Is Wallace & Gromit and Friends worth visiting?
If your kids love Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Morph or Chicken Run, this is definitely worth adding to a Battersea Power Station visit.
It is primarily a shop, so I would not travel across London expecting a full attraction, but there is much more to look at than I expected. Between the huge Morph, character zones, detailed models, photo opportunities, Aardman Craft Corner and themed displays, you can spend some time looking around even if you do not plan on buying anything.
And for anyone who grew up watching Wallace & Gromit, there are plenty of little references that adults will probably appreciate just as much as the kids.
