Caribe Royale Orlando REVIEW 2026: Family Stay Near Walt Disney World

If you are planning a trip to Orlando and want a hotel that combines space, convenience and proper resort vibes, Caribe Royale Orlando is one to have on your radar.

Located just minutes from Walt Disney World, this all suite resort is designed with families in mind. From spacious one bedroom suites to multiple pools, on site dining and entertainment, it offers everything you need for a comfortable stay without constantly leaving the hotel.

In this guide, you will find everything you need to know about staying at Caribe Royale Orlando, including what is included, facilities, dining options and what to expect during your stay.

Where is Caribe Royale Orlando located

Caribe Royale Orlando is located just minutes from Walt Disney World Resort, making it a popular choice for families visiting the parks.

It is also a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, which means guests benefit from close proximity to the parks and scheduled transportation to Disney theme parks and Disney Springs.

This is ideal if you do not plan to hire a car, as getting around is much easier.

Rooms and suites at Caribe Royale Orlando

During our stay, we stayed in the Caribe Queen Pool View Suite, which was perfect for a family and gave us a lovely view overlooking the pool area.

Caribe Royale Orlando offers a range of suite types to suit different group sizes and budgets, so whether you are travelling as a couple, a family or a larger group, there is something to match your needs. One thing I really liked is that you can take a virtual tour of the rooms on their website before you book, which makes it much easier to choose the right option.

Our suite was spacious, clean and smelled fresh as soon as we walked in. It featured two comfortable double beds, a separate living area with a desk and seating space, and two televisions which is always a bonus when travelling with kids.

You also get:

  • Mini cooler and microwave
  • Tea and coffee making facilities
  • Safe and wardrobe storage
  • Iron and ironing board
  • USB charging points and WiFi
  • Toiletries provided

Having that separate living space made a huge difference, especially after long park days when everyone just wants to relax.

Pools, slides and family facilities

This is where Caribe Royale really stands out for families. The main pool features a 75 foot water slide and waterfalls, making it a proper resort style experience rather than just a basic pool.

There is also:

  • A kiddie splash pool with fountains
  • Hot tubs
  • Private cabanas available to rent
  • A playground right next to the splash area

For active families, there is also a sport court with pickleball, padel and basketball, plus a large fitness centre. There are also extra touches like movies under the stars, a small arcade room and bike rentals, which make it feel like a full holiday without even leaving the resort.

Dining at Caribe Royale Orlando

There are plenty of dining options on site, which means you do not always have to leave the resort to find good food.

We had dinner at Stadium Club, which is more than just a sports bar. It is a really fun, interactive experience where you can play games while you eat. There are sports simulators including golf, great music and a lively atmosphere.

The food was genuinely good and the portions were very generous. In fact, they were so big that we did not manage to finish everything, which says a lot. If you are planning to eat here, it is worth keeping that in mind when ordering. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

For something more relaxed, we also tried Calypso’s, which is perfect for poolside dining. The portions were again very generous and the quesadillas were a standout for me.

Breakfast options

We tried breakfast twice during our stay and both experiences were great in different ways.

The first time, we ate in their Tropicale restaurant where breakfast is served buffet style. There was a wide selection including eggs, sausages, potatoes, fresh fruit and cereal. Everything we tried was really good quality, and the staff were attentive, bringing drinks over whenever we needed them.

The second time, we ordered breakfast to our room. This was ideal after a long day at Walt Disney World when we just wanted a slower, more relaxed start to the morning. Being able to sit back, eat in comfort and not rush out made a big difference.

Facilities and extras to know about

Caribe Royale Orlando really does feel like a full resort, not just a place to sleep.

There is a gym on site if you want to keep up with your fitness routine, as well as a small arcade which younger children will enjoy. There is also a Starbucks right at the entrance, which is very convenient for those early park mornings.

The pool area is a big highlight, and towels are provided free of charge. No towel card needed! It is worth noting that there is no lifeguard on duty at the pool, so you do need to keep a close eye on children at all times.

Getting around and location benefits

One of the biggest advantages of staying at Caribe Royale Orlando is the location.

It is less than 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport, which makes arrival and departure really easy, especially with children. It is also just minutes from Walt Disney World and not far from Universal Orlando, so you are well placed for all the main attractions.

The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the Disney parks and Disney Springs. You do need to book this in advance, but I actually preferred that because it guarantees your seat and avoids the usual rush.

This is a great option if you are not hiring a car, as it saves money on taxis and makes getting around much simpler.

Important Fees and Check-In Information at Caribe Royale Orlando

What you need to know before you book your stay near Walt Disney World

Before booking Caribe Royale Orlando, it is important to factor in the additional daily costs and policies that can impact your overall budget.

The hotel charges a resort fee of $38 per room, per night, plus tax. In addition to the resort fee, guests are required to pay an incidental hold of $100 per night at check in. This is held on your card to cover any potential extra charges during your stay. The hotel states that this is typically released within 48 hours after check out, although it can take up to 10 days depending on your bank.

Check in at Caribe Royale Orlando begins at 4pm, with check out at 11am. Suite occupancy varies depending on room type, with up to four guests in a king suite, five in a queen suite and up to six guests in a villa.

If you are planning a family trip to Orlando, especially near Walt Disney World, these additional costs can add up quickly, so it is worth including them in your overall budget when comparing hotels.

Overall review

Overall, we had a really lovely stay at Caribe Royale Orlando.

It is incredibly family friendly, close to the parks and the airport, and offers a great balance between busy park days and relaxing resort time. The combination of spacious suites, good food options and excellent facilities makes it a strong choice for families visiting Orlando.

I also really liked that the pool stays open until 11pm, which means you can easily do a half day at the parks and then come back to enjoy the resort in the evening.

The resort has so much to offer that you could easily spend an entire day there without leaving.

As always, pricing will vary depending on the time of year and your group size, so the best thing to do is check directly on their website, try different dates and look out for any offers. Signing up to their newsletter is also a good idea if you want to catch deals.

If you are looking for a hotel near Walt Disney World that offers space, convenience and proper resort facilities for families, Caribe Royale Orlando is definitely one to consider.
