REVIEW: London’s Top Pancake Spot – Stack & Still in Leicester Square

If you’re on the hunt for the ultimate pancake haven in the heart of London, your quest ends at Stack & Still, nestled in the bustling Leicester Square. This charming eatery not only offers a delightful pancake experience but also situates you in the perfect location to explore an array of entertainment options.

The new menu at Stack & Still is the talk of the town, and we were fortunate to be among the first to savor its delights. Opening bright and early at 9 am every day, it’s an ideal spot for a hearty breakfast, and the best part? Breakfast is served all day.

What sets Stack & Still apart is its extensive selection of pancake bases. Whether you’re a fan of classic Buttermilk, seeking a gluten-free option, or embracing the vegan lifestyle, they’ve got you covered with Buckwheat, Gluten-Free Vegan, Sugar-Free, and even Protein pancake bases.

Families, take note – children under 10 can enjoy a complimentary pancake when accompanied by a full-paying adult. Toppings and sauces are charged separately, and the good news is that this deal isn’t limited to special occasions; it’s available all day, seven days a week.

During our visit, my daughter indulged in a Buttermilk pancake adorned with white chocolate sauce and funfetti, and she couldn’t get enough of it. If you wish to enhance your pancake experience, you can add extra toppings for just £1.75 each and enjoy a scoop of ice cream for £2.95. The toppings range from blueberries, yogurt, and chicken tenders to peanut butter and more, while the ice cream flavors include salted caramel, vanilla, honeycomb, and beyond.

As for my own choice, I couldn’t resist the allure of the BBQ Pulled Pork Stack, priced at £12.95. It’s a generously portioned dish that left me delightfully stuffed. The secret to its irresistible taste lies in the chipotle mayo – a true game-changer that I can’t recommend enough.

Stack & Still doesn’t stop at sweet treats; they also offer a delectable selection of savory pancakes. You have the option to order from their set menu or let your creativity run wild by building your own pancake masterpiece. With so many choices, your taste buds are in for a real treat.

What’s more, during my recent visit, I discovered that Stack & Still now hosts parties, making it the perfect venue for a pancake-themed celebration. While the details are “coming soon,” you can keep an eye on their website for updates.

In the spirit of transparency, it’s worth mentioning that we were invited to Stack & Still. However, as always, my reviews are based on honest and genuine experiences. Stack & Still is undoubtedly a pancake paradise in the heart of London, offering a diverse range of flavors that will leave you craving more.
