Did you know that you can visit Butlins just for the day?
A day pass lets you enjoy Minehead, Skegness, or Bognor Regis for a day. Prices vary by location, so check the day visits section on the Butlins website for more details. I’m going to share our experience at Butlins Bognor Regis, the location we visited over the weekend.
Day visitors may arrive at 10 a.m. and must depart by 8 p.m. Last entry is 2 p.m.
- What’s Included in Your Butlins Day Visit
Unlimited Rides: Enjoy unlimited rides in their Traditional Fairground and Little Stars Fairground. - Splash Waterworld: Access the huge Splash Waterworld, featuring flumes and rapids.
- Live Daytime Shows: Watch brilliant live daytime shows in the indoor Skyline Pavilion.
- Play Areas: Access soft play areas (subject to availability), outdoor play areas, and arcades.
- Bars and Restaurants: Enjoy access to the on-site bars and restaurants.
- Additional Activities: Participate in a range of activities available at the resort. These can be booked at the leisure hub once on-site (subject to availability; not bookable through the Butlin’s app).
And if you book a break during your day visit, the price of your day visit will be deducted from the cost of your stay.
Top Tips for a Butlins Day Visit
- Go Swimming First: Start your day with a swim to avoid a wet journey home. If you’re lucky enough to get good weather like we did, the sun will help you dry off. Also, make sure to have a pound for the lockers.
- Check Out the Fairgrounds Next: After swimming, head to the fairgrounds to dry off. Plus, they sell the most amazing donuts there.
- Download the Butlins App: Use the app for an interactive map and to check show and meet-and-greet timings. It’s a handy tool to navigate your day.
- Pace Yourself: You might be tempted to cram in as much as possible, but remember to have fun! Enjoy each activity without rushing.
- Take Out Cash Beforehand: Save yourself the £1.25 ATM fee by withdrawing cash before you arrive.
