Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail is coming to the UK this autumn, taking over Arley Hall & Gardens in Cheshire from 22 October 2026.
The outdoor experience brings the world of Jack Skellington to life with dazzling lights, music, 3D sculptures and immersive scenes inspired by the much loved 1993 film. Expect to see familiar characters including Jack, Sally and Zero as you make your way through the grounds of Arley Hall.

Arley Hall is in the Cheshire countryside between Northwich, Knutsford and Warrington.
On site parking is available to add when booking, with parking currently priced from £8 per car.
How to get to The Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail from London
If you are travelling from London without a car, one of the simplest routes is to take a direct Avanti West Coast train from London Euston to Warrington Bank Quay.
The fastest direct journeys take from around 1 hour 42 minutes.
From Warrington Bank Quay, you will then need to take a taxi to Arley Hall & Gardens. The venue is around 8 miles from the station, so I would recommend prebooking your taxi, particularly if you are visiting for an evening session.
If you are planning to travel there and back from London on the same day, check the last train from Warrington Bank Quay to London Euston before choosing your trail time.
What can you expect?
The Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail takes approximately 75 minutes to complete.
The experience features iconic scenes and songs from the film alongside dazzling lights, 3D sculptures and immersive moments throughout the grounds of Arley Hall & Gardens.
All ages are welcome, although it is worth remembering that The Nightmare Before Christmas has a darker theme. Younger children who are sensitive to spooky characters, flashing lights or atmospheric music may find certain parts a little scary.
The experience also includes changes in light levels, bright colours, flashing lights and music.
Is The Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail accessible?
The trail takes place along a natural woodland path. Although the route is described as flat, the ground can be uneven in places.
Wheelchairs are not available to borrow at the venue, so visitors who require a mobility device should bring their own.
As this is an outdoor experience taking place during autumn and winter, suitable footwear and warm clothing are also recommended.
