If you’re looking for a fun, interactive experience for toddlers and pre school children, Peppa Pig Space Adventure at the NEC Birmingham is one of the best attractions we’ve visited for little ones. Designed for pre schoolers, this hands on, walk through adventure takes children from Peppa’s home all the way to the moon through immersive storytelling, interactive activities and familiar characters.
After visiting ourselves, I’d say it’s best suited to children under 5. It’s a really cute experience that definitely gets the immersive stamp of approval from me. If you’ve got a Peppa obsessed child at home, I genuinely think it’s well worth the money.
What Happens at Peppa Pig Space Adventure?
Before your adventure begins, every child is given a special star with a magnetic chip inside. Throughout the experience they can use their star to activate interactive features in different parts of each room, making them feel like they’re part of the story rather than simply watching it unfold. It’s a lovely touch that keeps little ones engaged from beginning to end.
Step Inside Peppa’s House
The adventure starts as you step through the garden and into Peppa Pig’s famous home. Children can explore the kitchen, sitting room, Peppa and George’s bedrooms, Evie’s nursery and the playroom while friendly storytellers bring every space to life.
Although there are only three main themed rooms throughout the experience, don’t let that put you off. I actually expected it to feel quite short, but we spent much longer in each room than I anticipated. There are so many interactive activities packed into each area that it never feels rushed or like you’re simply walking through.
Blast Off Into Space
One of the highlights is climbing aboard Grampy Rabbit’s rocket. Children join the countdown before blasting off into space, steering through the stars and spotting planets along the way. The colourful sets, storytelling and interactive elements keep children fully involved throughout the journey.
Explore the Moon
After landing on the moon, children can bounce around on space hoppers, enjoy soft play, explore sensory activities and continue interacting with different parts of the experience using their special star.
There’s so much for children to do that, despite there only being three rooms, it genuinely feels like excellent value. Every area is packed with activities, meaning children are constantly busy rather than simply moving from one room to the next.
Meet Peppa Pig
At the end of the experience, children get the chance to meet Peppa Pig herself, which was a lovely way to finish the adventure. Families have time to take their own photos on their phones, and professional photos are also available if you’d like to purchase them afterwards.
Gift Shop
As you leave, you’ll pass through the gift shop. Like most attraction gift shops, there are plenty of Peppa Pig toys, souvenirs and gifts available. It’s worth knowing that the prices aren’t exactly cheap, but there’s no pressure to spend anything if you don’t want to.
Is Peppa Pig Space Adventure Worth It?
For families with toddlers and pre school children, I’d absolutely recommend it. In fact, I’d go as far as saying it’s one of the best experiences we’ve visited for younger children.
Everything is designed to encourage children to join in, whether they’re activating features with their interactive star, exploring Peppa’s house, blasting off into space or bouncing around on the moon. The experience is incredibly hands on from start to finish.
Even though there are only three rooms, there is so much packed into each one that it never feels like you’ve paid to walk through a small attraction. We actually spent far longer inside than I expected because there was so much for children to interact with.

Tickets start from £17.50 and go up to £23.38 per person. Adults also require a ticket.
Children under 2 go free and family ticket bundles are available.
Peppa Pig Space Adventure is currently running at the NEC Birmingham until 8 November 2026, unless its run is extended.
If you’re travelling from London like we did, Birmingham International is the nearest train station, with the NEC just a short walk away.
Pushchairs and buggies cannot be taken inside the experience itself, although the venue is pushchair friendly up to the entrance. A free buggy parking area is available before you begin your adventure.
