NEW PAW Patrol Land at Chessington World of Adventures REVIEW 2026

Chessington World of Adventures has officially opened its brand new PAW Patrol themed land and honestly, it’s a really lovely new addition to the park.

I was actually invited to the original preview event, but I happened to be away on holiday at the time, so instead I visited once the area was officially open to the public. That did mean I got to experience it exactly how most families will, with real queues, busy pathways and excited little PAW Patrol fans everywhere.

And honestly? PAW Patrol fans are absolutely going to LOVE this area.

The entire land feels bright, colourful and designed with younger children in mind. The rides are genuinely age appropriate for the actual PAW Patrol audience, which I think is really important. Sometimes theme parks create themed areas that look amazing visually but don’t actually suit the ages of the children obsessed with the characters. Chessington has definitely got the balance right here.

What rides are inside the new PAW Patrol land?

The area includes several family friendly attractions themed around the popular characters from Adventure Bay.

Chase’s Mountain Mission

This is the area’s junior rollercoaster and definitely the most popular ride during our visit. Expect this one to have the longest queue throughout the day. When we visited, the wait time reached around 60 minutes.

The ride itself is very family friendly and acts as a perfect “first coaster” for younger children.

Skye’s Helicopter Heroes

A gentle aerial style ride where children can soar into the skies with Skye. This one looked especially popular with preschoolers and younger riders.

Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue

A cute family ride themed around Marshall’s fire engine. Again, this is aimed firmly at younger children and fits the theme perfectly.

Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure

Probably one of the most visually impressive rides in the area. Riders board hovercraft vehicles and spin around the water themed track. Queue times for this and the other non coaster rides were generally around 25 to 30 minutes during our visit.

Rubble & Rocky’s Playzone

There’s also a large playground area where children can climb, crawl and burn off some energy. Honestly, this is probably going to be just as popular as the rides themselves.

Meet and Greets

Throughout the day, children can also meet some of their favourite PAW Patrol characters including Chase, Skye, Rubble and Marshall.

If your child loves character experiences, this will probably end up being one of their favourite parts of the land.

Expect queues

I think this is important to mention because I’ve already seen some comments online about queue times.

This is a brand new themed area inside one of the UK’s most popular family theme parks. It’s shiny, new and highly anticipated, so yes, you should absolutely expect queues, especially during weekends and school holidays.

From what I could see, there didn’t appear to be any Fast Track options operating within the new area during my visit, although I’m not sure whether that’s permanent or simply because the land has only just opened.

If you want quieter queue times, your best chance will probably be weekday visits during term time. However, even then, I imagine there will still be plenty of preschool aged children visiting who aren’t yet in school.

The gift shop is unavoidable

Like most modern themed lands, the gift shop is very much part of the exit experience and it’s HUGE.

If your child is obsessed with PAW Patrol, just prepare yourself mentally before entering because there is a LOT in there.

A much needed update for Chessington

Overall, I think this is a really positive update for Chessington World of Adventures.

Chessington is a theme park that definitely needed some refreshing in certain areas and this feels like a smart move for the park’s future. It fits perfectly with Chessington’s family audience and gives younger children their own immersive area to explore.

And honestly, if this is the direction Chessington is heading in, I’m very excited to see what they do with the upcoming Minecraft themed area planned for 2027.

How to save money on Chessington tickets

Theme park tickets can add up quickly, especially for families, but there are a few ways you can potentially save money.

£29 Preschooler Ticket Offer

Chessington is currently running a midweek term time preschooler offer.

For £29, adults and preschoolers can enjoy entry to the theme park, Chessington Zoo and SEA LIFE Aquarium.

If you have younger children and flexibility during weekdays, this could be a really good value option.

Try the basket trick

This obviously won’t work for everyone, but it’s something worth trying.

Head to the Chessington website, add your tickets to the basket, fill out your details and then leave the website without completing the purchase.

I actually did this myself previously and a couple of days later I received an email offering 30% off tickets. Again, there’s no guarantee this will happen, but it’s definitely worth a try.

Cadbury Merlin discounts

Selected Cadbury multipacks currently offer discounts for Merlin attractions including Chessington, Alton Towers, LEGOLAND and Thorpe Park.

Depending on when you visit, discounts can range from around 10% to as much as 50% off online ticket prices.

Typically:
• Peak dates = smaller discounts
• Midweek/off peak visits = biggest savings

Eligible products include selected Freddo multipacks, Dairy Milk Buttons multipacks, Curly Wurly multipacks, Fudge multipacks and more.

Use Tesco Clubcard vouchers

Tesco Clubcard points can also be converted into Reward Partner vouchers, often doubling their value for attractions.

For example:
£5 in Clubcard points = £10 in attraction vouchers.

Nectar also offers similar attraction discounts and promotions, so it’s always worth checking both schemes before booking.

Consider an overnight stay

Sometimes Chessington short break packages include a second day in the theme park for free.

Depending on ticket prices and hotel rates, this can occasionally work out better value than buying standard day tickets separately.
