If you are looking for something different to do in London with kids that is not your typical museum day, this is one that really stands out.
What Is Paradox Museum London?
Paradox Museum London is one of the newest immersive attractions in central London, located at 90 Brompton Road, London, SW3 1JJ, right by Knightsbridge station. It is an interactive illusion based experience where nothing quite works the way you expect it to.
Inside, you will find over 50 exhibits designed to challenge your brain and your eyes at the same time. Think upside down rooms, disappearing acts, зерк illusions and spaces that completely mess with your balance.
This is not a look and walk around type of museum. It is designed to be fully interactive. You are encouraged to get involved, take photos and actually experience each installation rather than just observe it.
Most visits last around 60 to 90 minutes, depending on how long you spend in each room and how many photos you take.

What To Expect Inside
There are a few standout experiences that really make this place worth it.
The Zero Gravity Room is probably the most talked about. It genuinely makes you feel like you are walking on a tilted surface and completely throws off your balance. It is fun, slightly disorientating and definitely one of the busiest areas.
The Paradox Tunnel is another highlight. It creates a spinning illusion that makes it feel like the room is moving around you. It sounds simple but it completely messes with your sense of direction.
You also have multiple illusion rooms where you can stand upside down, disappear or create those viral style photos that you have probably seen all over social media.
Is Paradox Museum London Worth It?
I will be honest, this is not a cheap day out. But it is London, and for a central immersive experience like this, that is pretty standard.
Tickets are priced from around £25.50 for adults and from £20 for children, with family bundles available from £20 per person. Prices vary depending on peak times, so weekday and term time visits are usually cheaper.
That said, this is one of those experiences that both kids and adults genuinely enjoy. You are not just standing around watching your children have fun. You are fully part of it.
If you lean into it, take the photos and actually engage with the exhibits, it feels worth the price.

Practical Things To Know Before You Go
The experience lasts around 90 minutes and is suitable for all ages, although children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 4 go free.
There are free lockers available, which makes a big difference as you are moving around quite a lot and will want your hands free for photos.
Some exhibits like the Zero Gravity Room may require adult consent for under 18s.
It is also worth noting that while the venue is wheelchair accessible, not every single exhibit is fully accessible.
