A Magical Stay Near Disneyland Paris: Grand Magic Hotel REVIEW

You’ve followed us to Explorers Hotel and Dreamcastle Hotel, and now it’s time for our review of Grand Magic Hotel. Stay tuned for a separate post where I’ll compare all three! These fantastic hotels, part of the same group, are conveniently located just a short walk from Disneyland Paris. For now, let’s talk about Grand Magic and how grand it really is.

The Grand Magic Hotel is truly beautiful and, as I mentioned, conveniently located just a short distance from Disneyland Paris. The hotel even offers a free shuttle service to and from the park, although I must admit that the shuttle bus can get a little chaotic at times.

When we arrived, our room wasn’t quite ready yet, but the hotel kindly allowed us to use the pool if we wanted (we opted not to). We also took advantage of their free luggage storage room, which was very convenient. After dropping off our bags, we had a fantastic few hours at Disneyland Paris before returning to the hotel.

When we finally checked into our room, we were pleasantly surprised by its size! The room at Grand Magic Hotel was incredibly spacious, equipped with everything we needed—a safe, a bath, a mini fridge, a shower, a toilet, a huge bed, and even a bunk bed with the coolest night lights. Not to mention, there was a TV for some downtime entertainment. We were also provided with robes and slippers, although the robe was a bit too big for my little girl!

The room was spotlessly clean, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, making our short nap before hitting the pool quite enjoyable.

Speaking of the pool, it was a fun experience, although not the warmest. It’s important to note that, like their other hotels, Grand Magic Hotel does not have a lifeguard on duty, so it’s essential to keep a close eye on your kids at all times while they’re swimming.

After our swim, it was time to head down for dinner, and it did not disappoint. The dining experience at Grand Magic Hotel was fantastic, featuring a wide array of options in a buffet style that I always appreciate. My daughter, who can be a picky eater, was pleasantly surprised to find several items she enjoyed, and I was able to navigate the buffet safely despite my nut allergy. The variety and quality of the food left us thoroughly satisfied after a fun-filled day.

I can honestly say we had the best night’s sleep at Grand Magic Hotel. My daughter fell asleep within minutes, which is a testament to how comfortable the beds were. Combining the comfort of the beds with the great food we enjoyed at dinner and the fun-filled day at Disneyland Paris made for a truly memorable experience.

The next day, we woke up early and enjoyed refreshing hot showers before heading down to breakfast. The breakfast spread offered plenty of good options, and once again, it was buffet style, which suited us perfectly.

After breakfast, it was time to check out of the hotel. We made use of the luggage storage facilities before catching the shuttle bus for one final day at Disneyland Paris.

What stands out about the Grand Magic Hotel? Let’s break it down:

Convenient Amenities: The hotel features a pool, which is always a hit for families looking to unwind after a day at Disneyland Paris. Its proximity to the park is also a major highlight, making it easy to come and go as you please.

Entertainment Options: We noticed two arcade spots, adding an extra element of fun and excitement for guests, especially the younger ones.

Complimentary Breakfast: The fact that breakfast is included in your stay is a definite bonus. It’s convenient and helps start the day off right before heading out for adventures.

Magical Atmosphere: The hotel’s ambiance is enhanced by enchanting animations playing on screens, adding to the fantasy and allure of the place.

One area that could use improvement is the reception staffing. While our overall experience was positive, we did notice queues forming at reception. Perhaps more staff would help streamline the check-in/check-out process and reduce wait times.

Despite this minor issue, our stay at the Grand Magic Hotel was enjoyable, and its standout features made it a great choice for your Disneyland Paris adventure.
