Slash That Cinema Bill: Money Saving Tips To See The Latest Films.

I wrote this post in the hope that it will be useful to you, as the cinema is my second love (after theatre). Check out this post for information on baby cinema, autism-friendly screenings, and how to save money on tickets.

Baby Cinema

What if I told you, you can take your baby to the cinema with you. That’s right, you read it correctly. These are usually relaxed screenings, with the lights up a little and the sound not as loud as a regular screening. Sounds good, right?

Be aware that many screenings take place in the mornings, and there’s a few in the afternoon too. Standard cinema ticket prices unless stated otherwise. They usually have a designated area where you can park your buggies too.

Note that most cinemas allow little ones under 18 months in free of charge.

1. ODEON has special screenings for kids under the age of two.

Adults pay kids’ ticket prices at their special ODEON Kids screenings. You can check out family films on Saturday and Sunday mornings, plus every day during the school holidays.*

2. Picturehouse has special screenings for babies under one.

They also have Toddler time which is just for pre-school children and their guardians. Tickets are £3.30 for kids and free for their adults.

4. Explore Cinebabies at Cineworld, where they provide exclusive screenings for adults and babies. Their selection of films are rated 12A and below, and they offer amenities such as pushchair storage, nappy changing facilities, dimmed lights, and slightly lower sound levels for your comfort. Bring your baby along and enjoy the movie experience together, with little ones under 18 months attending for free! These screenings cater to both kids and adults, providing an affordable and enjoyable movie experience for the whole family!

5. Vue’s Mini Morning sessions offer adults and kids the opportunity to enjoy big-screen entertainment at an incredibly low price. With tickets starting from just £2.49 for both adults and children, it’s a fantastic deal for families. While Vue doesn’t offer parent and baby screenings, they do allow little ones under 2 to attend for free, as long as they sit on an adult’s lap.

6. On Fridays and Saturdays, visit Everyman cinema for toddler-friendly screenings. Designed for ages 1 to 5, you can enjoy the latest family film releases with your pre-schoolers. Plus, each ticket includes a warm drink and a slice of cake, all included in the price.
