Exploring the Vibrant Studio Art Café in South-West London: A Honest Review of a New and Fun Space

Discover a delightful way to spend time with your kids in London by exploring the new Studio Art Café in Putney.

Location: Upper Richmond Road, 114, Putney SW15 2SP.

Conveniently situated just across from East Putney station, parking is available on nearby roads at £3.90 per hour using the Ringo app, or enjoy free parking on Sundays.

If you have an aspiring artist at home, they’ll absolutely adore this experience. During our adventure, we participated in a fluid bear creative session, with prices ranging from £20 to £119.90, depending on the chosen bear’s size. These sessions, widely featured on social media, were even more enjoyable when experienced firsthand. Equipped with aprons and gloves, we dove into the creative process, making it a truly enjoyable experience – be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!

The bears are carefully kept in the studio for a three-day drying period, and you’ll receive a call once they’re ready for collection. While delivery is an option, additional charges apply, and for specifics, it’s advisable to contact them directly. Secure your spot by booking the sessions online. While walk-ins might be possible, to ensure availability, it’s recommended to pre-book, avoiding any potential disappointment.

We explored the Beads Bracelets & Necklaces Session, beginning at £24.90. If your child enjoys crafting and especially making bracelets and necklaces, this is perfect. Opting for a Valentine’s theme added a lovely touch, making it a delightful and bonding activity for my daughter and me in anticipation of Valentine’s Day.

Visit their website to explore the complete lineup of creative sessions. These engaging activities cater to children as young as 2 years old.

Planning a birthday celebration for your child? Studio Art Café offers party hosting options to accommodate various budgets. For details, it’s recommended to reach out via phone or email.

Additionally, they provide holiday camps, and you can secure a spot for the February half term at a great price of £69 for a full day from 9 am to 4 pm. For more information, visit their website and make an inquiry if you’re interested.

They offer a loyalty card for coffee enthusiasts, making it worthwhile for multiple visits. During our stop, I enjoyed a latte, and my daughter had a delightful hot chocolate. The drink prices are reasonable, in line with expectations for such establishments. Additionally, they have a variety of offerings, including soft drinks, Organix snacks, proper popcorn, and more.

This is a fantastic and enjoyable addition to South-West London. We plan to return, perhaps even during the February term.

While our experience was complimentary, my review remains honest.

We went here yesterday and honestly it was a lovely experience for the kids. They were excited to choose their colours and watched how the colours all mixed together for them to add to their key chains 🙂
