REVIEW of The Gate ApartHotel London: Ideal Accommodation for Families

We recently enjoyed a wonderful staycation at The Gate ApartHotel in London, where a few key factors made our visit truly memorable.

First, the staff was exceptional. While I didn’t catch the name of the receptionist, she was incredibly welcoming, especially to little miss, making her feel right at home. Every member of the team we encountered exuded warmth and friendliness, always ready to assist with a smile.

As for the food, we had both breakfast and dinner during our stay, and everything was delicious. The meals arrived promptly after we ordered, with great portion sizes and excellent taste.

We stayed on the 20th floor of The Gate ApartHotel London, and the views were lovely, especially at sunset. While there’s some construction nearby, it didn’t detract from the experience. Our family-accessible apartment was perfect for our stay, with everything we needed for a comfortable mini staycation. The apartment included a bed and sofa bed, two TVs, a dining table, a fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, cookware, cutlery, crockery, shower, toilet, towels, toiletries, and WiFi. It had all the essentials for a relaxing, family-friendly stay.

The Lounge at The Gate ApartHotel London was a highlight of our stay. It’s a great spot to enjoy meals or simply unwind if you want a break from your room. We spent some time reading books and even played a game of Monopoly. The outdoor terrace also offers a lovely setting, especially for warmer months.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a short walk from Aldgate East station, with easy access to top London attractions like The Tower of London, Spitalfields Market, Sky Garden, and numerous restaurants.

Overall, our staycation at The Gate ApartHotel was the best we’ve had in London. Despite being locals, we loved the chance to escape the usual routine and enjoy some relaxation without the hassle of cooking and cleaning. I highly recommend this experience—sometimes staying in your own city can feel just as refreshing as a holiday. Visit their website to book your own staycation.
