Platform is one of my favourite gaming spots in London. We first discovered it when they opened in Canary Wharf, and even though that branch hasn’t reopened, the Shoreditch location has become our go-to. It’s indoors, easy to get to and a brilliant rainy-day activity for families.
You’ll find Platform at 2B Worship Street, Shoreditch, London EC2A 2AH, with Liverpool Street, Moorgate and Old Street stations all close by. Check in when you arrive, and you’re taken straight to your designated gaming booth so you can get started right away.
The 90-Minute Console Gaming Experience is £15 per person, giving you nonstop access to Nintendo Switch and PS5 games with more than 30 titles to choose from. You need at least two players to book. Even though we have a Switch at home, the PS5 is always a hit because we don’t have one, so it feels like a proper treat.

If you’re more into PC gaming, the 2-Hour PC Gaming Experience is £14 per person, bookable for solo players, duos or groups of up to ten. It’s a great option for older kids and teens who love keyboard-and-mouse games.
For kids’ birthdays, Platform’s Pixel Party Package is excellent value at £26 per child and is designed for ages 6–15. Kids get 90 minutes of private gaming time with age-appropriate Nintendo Switch and PS5 games, unlimited soft drinks, juice and water, a friendly party host, pizzas or nachos to share, and a dessert choice of ice cream or brownies. It’s simple, fun and keeps the energy high from start to finish.
Platform has a really good vibe — colourful, modern and genuinely family friendly. It’s one of those indoor activities that works perfectly when the weather is awful or you need something last minute, and the kids always come out excited and wanting to return.
If you’re looking for a fun, affordable and easy family activity in London, Platform Shoreditch is definitely worth checking out.
