Everything You Need to Know – Minecraft Experience Villager Rescue REVIEW

The Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is bringing the world of Minecraft to life in London starting April 4. This immersive, real-world adventure allows fans to step into the game and take on an exciting mission to save the villagers from a zombie attack. Players will use a handheld Orb of Interaction to chop trees, mine resources, and battle mobs, just like in the game.

The experience features seven themed Minecraft biomes where participants must gather materials, solve challenges, and fight iconic enemies like spiders, creepers, and skeletons. Along the way, adventurers will mine for gems, explore interactive environments, and work together to build their way through an escape portal before time runs out.

I’ll be honest—there were moments when I had no clue what I was doing, even with instructions before each task and staff available to help. My 9-year-old pretty much took the lead! That said, I still had a great time.

I loved how interactive the experience was. Using the orbs to chop trees, battle enemies, and complete tasks was really fun. The orbs themselves are pretty cool—they flash, change colours, and vibrate. You’ll know it’s time to move to the next room when your orb turns green.

While the experience is open to all ages, I’d recommend it for kids over five, as younger ones might struggle to understand what’s happening. You also cannot bring buggies or prams inside!

Those who complete the quest will receive an exclusive limited-edition Minecraft: Bedrock Edition in-game cape, making this event even more exciting for dedicated players. The Trading Post will also be available for fans to purchase exclusive Minecraft merchandise and connect with other Minecrafters.

There are some photo opportunities, and you can purchase photos afterward. A 6×8 print costs £12, as does a set of three keychains or three magnets.

Located at Corner Corner, Maritime Street, London (closest station: Canada Water) If you’re having trouble finding it, look for a large green building right next to—or possibly even connected to—Surrey Quays Shopping Centre. It’s on the left of the main entrance, so you can’t miss it! Just follow the arrows and signs to the main entrance of the new Minecraft experience.

The experience runs for approximately 45 minutes and is open to all ages, with kids aged 0-2 entering for free. Tickets start at £21.50, and fans can use the exclusive discount code “KIDDOADVENTURES10” for a special discount.

Whether you’re a die-hard Minecraft player or just looking for a fun and unique experience in London, this event is a must-visit. Tickets are selling fast, so book now to secure your spot and prepare for the ultimate Minecraft adventure!
