Inko Nito London REVIEW: Family-Friendly Japanese Dining in Soho

Looking for a family-friendly restaurant in London? Inko Nito in Soho is a good choice, offering Japanese robatayaki and sushi with a Korean twist. The modern yet relaxed atmosphere makes it a great spot for a casual meal, whether you’re dining with kids or enjoying a weekend brunch with friends.

They’ve recently launched a Kids Weekend Brunch Menu for just £5 per child, featuring cucumber & avocado maki, Japanese breadcrumb fried chicken, with rice, followed by vanilla ice cream for dessert. It’s a simple but tasty option for little ones. Meanwhile, adults can indulge in Inko’s Weekend Brunch, which includes an array of flavourful dishes such as salmon fillet with ruby grapefruit & sansho salt, roasted pork belly, and beef short rib.

  • Adult Brunch: £35 per person (without alcohol)
  • Free-flowing wine: +£14.50 per person (red, white & sparkling)
  • Inko Spritz / Plum Punch: +£20 per carafe (serves 4)

One thing to be mindful of is allergies—many dishes contain peanuts, and there is a risk of cross-contamination, so it’s worth checking in advance if this is a concern.

As for the food, the pork dumplings with grapefruit truffle dressing stood out with their rich, savoury depth and citrusy tang. The Inko steak frites featured a beautifully tender and well-seasoned beef fillet with a spicy kick, though the crispy potato on the side was slightly underwhelming. While the kids’ brunch was enjoyable, it might not be quite filling enough for older children, so you may want to order a little extra.

With its prime Soho location, friendly and attentive staff, and a well-curated menu that balances good flavours with family-friendly options, Inko Nito is well worth a visit for a unique and satisfying dining experience in London.
