Looking for a creative, family-friendly activity in London? Neon Brush Kids offers a vibrant, hands-on art experience perfect for kids and parents alike. Located at Glaziers Hall, 9 Montague Cl, London SE1 9DD, just a short walk from London Bridge station, this workshop allows families to dive into 90 minutes of messy, colorful fun! Here’s my honest review of the Neon Brush Kids workshop, including what we loved and where there’s room for improvement.
To be upfront, the start of the session felt a bit disorganised. Families are asked to find their own seats, which created some initial chaos as everyone tried to settle in. Pre-setting tables for families who booked in advance would help streamline this part of the experience. But once everyone found their spots, the creative vibes quickly took over.
This 90-minute art session is designed for kids aged 4+ and requires an adult to accompany each child. The space is prepped for mess, so come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting paint on. Aprons are provided, along with all the necessary art materials, so you’re all set to dive right into the fun!
At check-in, each family receives drink tokens, which can be exchanged for water, Sprite, Coke, or other drinks options. It’s a nice touch that helps keep everyone refreshed during the session without added costs.
The Neon Brush Kids workshop costs £60 for one adult and one child. This fee covers all materials, aprons etc. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, and sure, it’s something we could do at home—but honestly, I’d rather not. I know plenty of parents who feel the same way; dealing with that level of mess is just easier outside the house! This experience is perfect for those of us who want the creative fun without the cleanup.
