Bahrain International Airport
Bahrain Airport offers a dedicated Entertainment Zone to keep children of all ages entertained while waiting for their flight. The area features interactive toys, gaming consoles, climbing domes, and cozy seating, making it a great spot for toddlers, teens, and parents alike to relax and have fun before boarding.

While waiting to board your flight, take a break at Bill’s Playroom on Level 3 of the airport. It’s a perfect spot for kids to pass the time with LEGO, books, and a variety of toys, making the wait more enjoyable.

We found two charming play areas tucked away at Cologne Bonn Airport. Take a look at the photos below for a sneak peek! In Terminal 1, there’s a toddler playground, while Terminal 2 features a fun climbing airplane. Plus, there are bouncy boxes on the floor near the baggage carousels in arrivals.

Latvia
Riga
Riga Airport offers several play areas to keep young passengers entertained. The ‘Ergo’ playground, designed for active and creative activities, is located at gate B5. Near gate C4, children can enjoy ‘The Da Vinci Aircraft,’ while the ‘In the Clouds’ play area is situated near gate C20 in the non-Schengen area.

Oslo Airport offers several children’s play areas to keep little ones entertained. You can find toy planes at gate C1, gate A12, and at the train station. Between gates D3 and D5, there’s the Munti Magic station, where kids can color virtual planes and watch them soar on a large screen. Additional play areas are also located at gate F14.
Spain
Palma de Mallorca Airport
According to the Palma de Mallorca Airport website, there are several children’s play areas equipped with toys and games to keep kids entertained before their flight. You can find more information on their locations here.

You can find this fantastic kids’ playground in the transit area between gates A5 and A8 at Geneva Airport, perfect for families on the go! Specifically designed for kids aged 3 to 12, this airport-themed play space offers exciting features like a security check, a view of the runway from the control tower, and even a luggage belt! It’s a great way for little ones to burn off energy and have fun while waiting for a flight, making traveling with kids more enjoyable for parents too.
United Kingdom
Gatwick North and South terminals
At Gatwick Airport, each terminal boasts two modestly sized play areas. In the South Terminal, head upstairs, located near Nando’s. Meanwhile, in the North Terminal, you’ll find the play space just around the corner from WHSmith. Gatwick also has a sensory room that can be book at special assistance. Heathrow Airport
The soft play area at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, located after security near Gate A2, is a great spot for kids, especially during delays. It’s open every day from 6am to 9pm. Other play areas include: Terminal 2’s Stay & Play, found in the main departure lounge near Gate A16, and also near Gate B46 at the B Gates; Terminal 3’s Stay & Play, located above the departures lounge after security; and Terminal 4’s Stay & Play, near Gate 1A. Heathrow also offers free sensory object packs in all terminals for children.
