Germany
Cologne
We found two charming play areas tucked away at Cologne Bonn Airport. Take a look at the photos below for a sneak peek! In Terminal 1, there’s a toddler playground, while Terminal 2 features a fun climbing airplane. Plus, there are bouncy boxes on the floor near the baggage carousels in arrivals.
Denmark
Billund
While waiting to board your flight, take a break at Bill’s Playroom on Level 3 of the airport. It’s a perfect spot for kids to pass the time with LEGO, books, and a variety of toys, making the wait more enjoyable.
Italy

Palma de Mallorca Airport
According to the Palma de Mallorca Airport website, there are several children’s play areas equipped with toys and games to keep kids entertained before their flight. You can find more information on their locations here.
United Kingdom
Gatwick North and South terminals
At Gatwick Airport, each terminal boasts two modestly sized play areas. In the South Terminal, head upstairs, located near Nando’s. Meanwhile, in the North Terminal, you’ll find the play space just around the corner from WHSmith. Gatwick also has a sensory room that can be book at special assistance. Heathrow Airport
The soft play area at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, located after security near Gate A2, is a great spot for kids, especially during delays. It’s open every day from 6am to 9pm. Other play areas include: Terminal 2’s Stay & Play, found in the main departure lounge near Gate A16, and also near Gate B46 at the B Gates; Terminal 3’s Stay & Play, located above the departures lounge after security; and Terminal 4’s Stay & Play, near Gate 1A. Heathrow also offers free sensory object packs in all terminals for children.
