I thought I’d give you the lowdown on the Disneyland Paris PhotoPass since we got ours for free as part of the Disneyland Pass Gold! If you have the Gold pass, you’ll be happy to know that the Disney PhotoPass™+ is included as one of the benefits, valid for 1 year. I’ll include some photos in this review for you to check out, but please note that my daughter’s face will be blurred out as I don’t share her image on social media.
The Disneyland Paris PhotoPass is basically a service that lets you collect all the professional photos taken by the photographers across the park. So, instead of trying to capture every moment yourself, you can just scan your PhotoPass whenever you get pictures taken – whether it’s at a character meet-and-greet or on a ride. All the photos then get added to your account, which you can download later. It’s a nice way to get everyone in the shot and have those high-quality memories without the stress of constantly whipping out your phone!
The Disney PhotoPass is valid for 10 days from when you buy it (or from when you pick it up in one of the boutiques if you’ve bought it in advance). But if you’ve got a Disneyland Pass Gold or Silver, you get a PhotoPass that’s valid for a whole year.
At Disneyland Paris, PhotoPass is available for a one-off fee of €85. While some of the photos can turn out great, I personally don’t think it’s worth that price. It’s only valid for 10 days, and with the quality of phone cameras these days, it just doesn’t feel necessary. If you’ve got an annual pass like the Gold or Silver, it’s a nice freebie, but otherwise, it feels very pricey to me.

Here are some unedited photos I’ve taken on my iPhone 13 Pro.
There are certainly newer phones available that might offer even better photo quality than the iPhone 13 Pro. While I’m no photography expert, I believe good natural lighting can make a huge difference in capturing great shots. I don’t think the PhotoPass is worth it, but take a look at the photos and decide for yourself.
