What to Expect from Bocconcino Soho’s Family Festa Sundays: A REVIEW

As much as I absolutely love my daughter, I know I’m not the only parent who occasionally craves a night out with a partner or friend—enjoying a delicious meal and engaging in some relaxing adult conversation. This is where Bocconcino Soho comes into play.

Bocconcino Soho has just launched Family Festa Sundays, a new child-friendly dining experience. It’s the perfect family outing, combining exquisite Italian cuisine with fantastic entertainment for kids. Their Sunday Family Lunch, from 1pm to 4pm, offers a unique experience where parents can savour a leisurely meal while their children are entertained and engaged in fun activities.

My friend and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing this ourselves. We enjoyed uninterrupted adult conversation over a lovely meal, knowing our kids were safe and having a blast downstairs. Although we checked on them occasionally, our eight-year-olds were more than capable of letting us know if anything was wrong, which, of course, it wasn’t. It was a fantastic experience all around. Entertainment for kids is available when parents dine from the Sunday menu, and children must be over the age of 3. Parents remain responsible for their children.

While Bocconcino Soho doesn’t have a dedicated children’s menu, you can easily adapt the existing menu by simply informing your waiter.

You can view their full menu here. I had the Ravioli stuffed with fresh spinach and creamy ricotta in a rich cherry tomato sauce, and it was an absolutely delectable dish! My friend opted for the linguine with succulent lobster and sweet cherry tomatoes, which she described as a fantastic and flavourful dish.

This restaurant is worth visiting for several reasons: excellent food, superb children’s entertainment, and a lovely ambiance. Its prime location in Soho adds to its appeal. Nearby attractions include Hamleys, the Microsoft Store, and all the lovely shops on Oxford Street. Additionally, there are many theatres in the area, making Bocconcino Soho a perfect spot for a pre- or post-theatre meal.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and will definitely be back. Bocconcino also has other locations in London, including one in Mayfair for a more adult vibe and a new one opening soon in Covent Garden. I recommend checking out their socials for updates.
