We recently embarked on another adventure to Billund! Returning to Legoland is always a delight, and it’s truly a fantastic destination for families. The excitement was palpable, especially seeing so many kids on our flights. Family travel might not be new, but it’s always heartwarming to see children exploring the world.

Bus to Legoland from the Airport: 26 DKK one way (around £2.99 per adult, kids were free)

Our trip was perfect with no delays—Ryanair was on time, which was fantastic! The weather was beautiful, perfect for water rides which we enjoyed and dried off quickly. Despite Legoland Billund being busy, the longest we queued was around 25 minutes. It was a dream visit! We also explored the new Peppa Pig playground, which little fans will absolutely love!

To wrap up, I don’t have a special trick for finding cheap flights. I regularly check SkyScanner and book immediately when I find a good deal. You can find affordable flights on weekends too—this trip is proof!
