The Cocoon Sendlinger Tor is conveniently situated just a short walk from Munich’s central station, making it an ideal base for exploring the city and beyond. We were thrilled to discover that the central station offered direct access to Legoland Deutschland with just a quick two-stop train ride—a real bonus for families like ours seeking seamless travel logistics.
One of the standout features of Hotel Cocoon Sendlinger Tor is its blend of comfort and innovation. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful amenities, including a self-service check-in experience that felt surprisingly grown-up—especially when creating our own room key card!
The hotel’s interior exuded warmth and style, with cozy spaces that welcomed tired travelers like us. Our room boasted a comfy bed, a swing nest (a hit with our little one!), a safe, a well-appointed shower and toilet, and a TV for those relaxing evenings.
Beyond its inviting accommodations, the Cocoon Sendlinger Tor is perfectly positioned for family adventures. We discovered several playgrounds nearby, which were a hit with our kids. Plus, a short stroll led us to enticing attractions like a cool Haribo store, a LEGO store (a dream come true for our young LEGO enthusiast!), and an array of shops and eateries—all within easy reach of the hotel.
Each morning, we eagerly anticipated breakfast at the hotel, and we were not disappointed. The buffet offered a fantastic selection of options to suit every taste, including sausages, eggs, fresh fruits, cereals, and more. Even our pickiest eater found plenty to enjoy, ensuring we started each day on a delicious note.
