Even though I had no obligation to write this post, I decided to do so because I had a great experience at Turtle Bay’s bottomless brunch. It’s an experience I believe you should definitely check out. I want to be transparent and mention that I received a gift card from Turtle Bay.
Now, let’s talk about the price and what you can expect from their bottomless brunch. From just £32.50 per person, you get two hours of unlimited cocktails, prosecco, draft beers, and mocktails. In addition to the drinks, you also get to choose any brunch dish, burger, or wrap from their menu. Alternatively, you have the option to upgrade and select any dish available on their menu.
One of the great things about this deal is that all the cocktails on their menu are included. You can mix and match as much as you like. While some of the cocktails are absolutely delicious, I have to admit that there are a few that didn’t quite hit the mark. Nonetheless, the variety of options allows you to find something you’ll truly enjoy.
I had the pleasure of visiting the Brixton location of Turtle Bay, and I must say, it’s a really nice venue. When it comes to the food, I opted for the Honey Bunny Yardbird, and it was absolutely amazing. This dish features a hand-rolled soft bara roti stack topped with fried chicken, hot sauce, maple syrup, and a crispy fried egg. It was a delightful combination, and I would easily rate it 10/10. It was so delicious that I almost ordered another one, but instead, I decided to try the Trini Curry Prawn, which was equally fantastic. After enjoying these dishes, I found myself quickly satisfied and comfortably full.
Now, let’s dive into the cocktails. As I mentioned earlier, there were a few cocktails that I truly loved, while there were others that didn’t quite live up to my expectations.
Among the cocktails I tried, the Berry Reggae stood out as my absolute favorite. Its sweetness was incredibly satisfying, and I must confess, I indulged in more than one glass. The Marley Mojito was also a big hit for me, blending refreshing flavors that complemented each other well. However, I wasn’t particularly fond of the Tingaling cocktail. Unfortunately, I can’t recall the names of the other cocktails I sampled, but you can easily find the complete cocktail menu here.
Despite being British-born, I have a deep familiarity with Jamaican food and flavors due to my family’s roots. My entire family hails from Jamaica, and while Turtle Bay’s dishes may not replicate the exact flavors and authenticity of my late grandmother’s cooking, I still appreciate their unique take on West Indian cuisine.
