The set up.
Honestly, setting up the Toniebox was a little challenging. I followed the instructions carefully, but every time I reached the last step, it didn’t work. Just as I was about to give up, it finally started working, and we were both thrilled.
It is easy for your kids to use without your assistance. You simply press one of the ears to turn it on! The story will begin as soon as your child puts a Tonie on the box.
You can also record your own stories, messages, or even sing to your child, upload them to Toniecloud, and your child will be able to hear your voice from Toniebox. A great idea if you have to travel for work, or your voice has gone, but your child still wants a story!
You can easily play audiobooks from CDs or your phone, but I prefer the Toniebox. It’s different, and it encourages your child to be a little more independent. The Toniebox allows them to select which story they want by removing and replacing the Tonies. They can also play with the figures (when they’re not on the box; otherwise, the story stops), so it encourages creative play as well.
I’ll tell you one more thing! The device turns itself off automatically, so you won’t have to worry about it! Since we love it so much, I have purchased even more Tonies for her! Her collection now numbers over 30 and she is eager to keep adding to it.

My girl has now lost interest in this which is a shame. I agree with the comments about the set up too, it was a bit of a nightmare! I will be going back to the bedtime reading and pictures now……
