Yes we’ve been to yet another grotto 🤪
Surprisingly it doesn’t get boring. Each grotto is different and well it’s great for all you guys to see what they’re all like so you can pick the best one for your family!
Today we were kindly invited to check out the grotto at Shrek’s Adventure. We’ve been to Shrek’s Adventure a few times and we always have a good time. I knew the grotto would be great!
If you haven’t been to Shrek’s Adventure before then do make sure you check out my blog post about it here!
The Grotto experience is 15 minutes of a lot of Shrektastic fun!
You will get a
– A photo opportunity with the big man himself, Santa!
– A free Shrektacular gift
– Entertainment from some really cool elves!
I can honestly say it didn’t feel like we were rushed at all. Little miss had a decent amount of time to talk to Santa. He was very friendly as well as the elves. The elves are there as a way to keep you entertained while you wait and they did a good job!
Also I must say how cute the decorations were. They were super Christmassy but still had the Shrek theme. The gingerbread house was a big hit for little miss. She’s now desperate to make one at home!
Get this…parents do not have to pay which is brilliant. It’s actually very annoying when you have to pay for a grotto as a parent knowing full well it’s just for your child! Families are welcome to enter the Grotto with any paying child.
Please note that if they are super busy then only one adult will be allowed to enter per child
Remember to always book online when it comes to things like this to get the best possible price! It’s always more on the door and you’re not guaranteed entry!
Shrek’s Adventure! AND Christmas Grotto Ticket starts from £25
For a child under 3 the grotto is £7.50 but they will not have to pay for the Shrek’s Adventure experience!
If you’ve already bought your Shrek’s Adventure entry ticket, you can buy a Grotto ticket separately for the same date and time. This is important to remember! This will cost you £7.50
If you’re an annual pass holder then you can get your grotto ticket for just £5

It was a lovely experience and little miss really enjoyed her day. As did I!
