Cruising on the Thames with MBNA Thames Clippers

[Tickets were gifted]

Our day started off at Battersea Power Station! We had no idea where we were going to go but we were very excited as this was our first time using the MBNA Thames Clippers!

Did you know you can use your oyster on this service? I didn’t!

Also did you know kids go free with a Family River Roamer? You can explore all London has to offer with this all day hop-on, hop-off ticket for 2 adults and up to 3 children. Just £35.60 when you book online.

This is a great way to get to fab family attractions like Sealife, Shrek’s Adventure, the new kids playground in Greenwhich and MORE!

Getting on and off is very simple! You’ll be fine if you have a buggy but will most likely have to fold it if it’s a wide one!

So what was it like onboard?

CLEAN! 😍 honestly it was so lovely and relaxing! I could’ve spent all day on it and just napped! The views were lovely and we had amazing weather too!

We first got off at Tower Bridge. We didn’t spend too much time there as it was super busy but we do have future plans to visit the attraction so make sure you come back to the blog to read the review!

Next stop was Greenwhich! Greenwhich is a bit of an effort for us to get to so we don’t go there that often. Now we will seeing as we can use the MBNA Thames Clippers service!

We checked out the new playground and little miss fell in love with it! It’s so lovely there! There’s also a bunch of other family friendly activities to do there like the Maritime Museum!

We hopped back on board and headed towards Canary Wharf. I’ve lived in London my whole life and I’ve never been there before. I must say it’s a gorgeous place with stunning views!

We ended up at the Docklands museum

It’s FREE entry and we also ended up at a free interactive storytelling session which was absolutely HILARIOUS! We both had an amazing time!

As much as we would’ve loved to spend the whole day out, we were very tired! It’s hard work being a tourist 😀

We went back on the MBNA Thames Clippers back home!

You can check out the MBNA Thames Clippers website for more info on routes, prices, timetables etc! I highly recommend using this service to get around London! Can’t wait to use it again! 😊
