Dick Whittington @ The Lyric Theatre Hammersmith

It’s Panto season!!!!

We were invited to see an AMAZING performance of Dick Whittington at The Lyric theatre in Hammersmith. Now we saw last years brilliant Panto so I was expecting this one to be just as good and well…it was better!

I actually didn’t know much about the storyline so was excited to see what it was all about!

The show has plenty of “adult” jokes that hopefully your kids are way too young to understand lol! They had the whole audience laughing and the kids very confused 🤣

The musical numbers were a big hit for me! We heard renditions of songs from “The Greatest showman” and even the SUPER annoying “baby shark” – my daughter almost exploded when she heard that! There’s was literally something for everyone! The singing! Oh the singing was brilliant. Especially from Bow Belles (Jodie Jacobs) what an amazing voice she has! She really stole the show for me! I don’t want to say too much so you guys just have to watch it!

There was plenty of audience interaction! Sweets were thrown into the crowd at one point and we caught one this year which was great! The show ended on a high with the audience getting to sing along to Whitney Houston’s “I wanna dance with somebody” and some magical snow.

It’s a show that’s fun for all the family so of course we recommend going! It’s a great way to kick off the festive season if you haven’t done so already!

I have seen that next years Panto is Cinderella and we can’t wait! I can only expect good things!
