So we have just come back from our 4 night stay at Butlins – Bognor Regis and we had a blast. We were so lucky to have picked this week as the weather has been beautiful. I was honestly expecting rain lol.
There are two other resorts: Minehead & Skegness and I will be visiting the other 2 later on in the year so watch out for those posts 🙂
Our holiday cost a total of £56. 2 adults and 2 toddlers for 4 nights! Absolute bargain! Check out the price breakdown below.
We booked with the Sun holidays at just £9.50 per person for 4 nights. There are a few Facebook groups you can join and they can explain the process better than I can. https://m.facebook.com/groups/2250091218
If you don’t want to stay then you also have the opportunity to go for a day trip which I have done a few times in the past. It’s just as fun!
Upon arrival we were given wrist bands and key cards to access our rooms. We couldn’t actually access the room until 4pm but we were free to roam Butlins while we waited.
Our rooms were small but nice and we were very happy to be on the ground floor. There are a number of options when picking your room so be sure to visit the website to see what’s best for you.
So what’s there for you to do?
Splash water world
This was definitely my favourite bit. So Butlins have an inside water world with lots of slides and an awesome wave machine. My description won’t do it justice so have a look on the site for pics. Next year they will be opening up an outdoor water park so we will of course be visiting again to check it out!
There is a fairground which is for older kids & adults of course but definitely check it out. The little ones will appreciate the lights and atmosphere. My little girl was a little too short to go on most of the rides but there’s still plenty of things to do with young kids.
They have a soft play area for different age ranges.
They have live shows at Butlins which is great for all ages. They change everyday so if you miss one show, you can probably see it on another day. During our visit we got to see the Teletubbies, Cinderella rocks (a hilarious panto) and the Mr Men and Little Miss characters.
You are able to take photos with some of the characters from the shows professionally (for a fee) and on your phone.
There are plenty of places to eat while you’re there and a supermarket where you can buy food, snacks and drinks too. I would recommend buying snacks etc before you get there as I found food in the supermarket a little overpriced.
Honestly it’s almost impossible to be bored here. There are outdoor parks, arcades, day and evening entertainment, a mini fairground inside for tots and so much more. We cannot wait to go again!!
