Today we went to see Justin’s Band featuring the popular Justin Fletcher aka Mr Tumble. Today was the last day of the tour but I did feature this in a previous post Children’s theatre 2018 so I’m hoping you all bought tickets in advance as it as a great show!
Last year we saw Justin’s party which was another fun filled show so we’re hoping that there will be more to come.
The show took place at Theatre Drury Lane which is a huge beautiful theatre. Check out some pictures below.
The show was jam packed with great music and funny moments. Parents enjoyed just as much as the kiddies. My favourite moment was when Justin’s mic stopped working because he had a pie thrown in his face 😀 My daughter found it hilarious too and couldn’t stop laughing!
It was an interactive musical performance and the children got to see and listen to a wide range of musical instruments. The band were incredible and kept us on our toes dancing!
There was also heavy usage of Makaton which is very normal for a show featuring Justin Fletcher. It’s a great skill to have and my daughter has learned quite a bit from the watching Mr Tumble on CBeebies.
The show ended with some great musical numbers including the famous “goodbye” song. As I mentioned before, today was the last day but keep an eye on the blog as I’ll be quick to let you know when his next show is coming!
